The blend is made in the spring of the subsequent year and is essential for achieving balance between the rich maturation of the Chardonnay and the freshness and flavour of the Pinot Noir. It rests on the lees for at least five years and is refined for another year after disgorging.<\/p>\n The very low dosage intensifies the elegance and purity of the wine.
